0.3.7-P2: Bugfix Patch 5

Good afternoon!

I'm back fairly soon with a patch that fixes some minor bugs and adds a few improvements to the Challenge Tower. As with the previous patches, you can download the latest version and transfer your save file over to apply the patch.

BUGFIXES:

  • Rare Treats' effects should now disappear after a battle.
  • The Gargoyle Wing Shield should now actually boost Gravity attacks at the right time.

OTHER:

  • A fourth vendor has been added in the Challenge Tower that sells "Research Tomes", which add 15 Research of a given type.
  • NPCs have been added that allow the player to heal after a battle in the Endless Challenge or start the Challenge with 1 HP.

Woo! Thanks! Downloading!

Not sure if this is a bug: Magic Toxin Filter + Time Heals All, means I don't get the Filter's regen in the turn that the status that the Filter does the healing with, goes away? A.k.a 2 turns of Freeze left, then Brill's turn starts Freeze removes 2 turns, leaving her getting 0 healing that turn, but also now has 0, a.k.a no, Freeze.

Might just be me not following event orders right.

Maybe Magic Toxin Filter's regen shouldn't suffer the Poison's debuff on healing?

Not sure if it should also heal on Frost Burn?
...
Gleam Sand description's "15% Haste/2/3 Attack", that first "/" confused me for so long. So it's saying Sand decreases target attack to 2/3 of its value!

Given how good kerning seems, you could replace "Haste/2" with "Haste & 2/3"? The next line shows that you have at least 2 more spaces available for that line?
...

I guess the only other important HP breakpoint is Losing 150 HP, to get the most out of the stat booster rings, but if they want that, setting to 1 then healing up with Regen Medal etc is the obvious way.

Hmm... I sorta wanna do a Boater run, because more ATK is awesome! but I don't have anyway to self-Soften, unlike that Fire-booster Burn Accessory... Hmm.
