0.3.7-P2: Bugfix Patch 9 (and a Screenshot Saturday too)


Good afternoon!

The week has been spent getting back into a proper routine, leaving less time than I hoped for development. However, I was able to spare some time for fixing a few bugs in the game, and I've pushed a patch with some fixes. (Thanks to crymblade and Malandy for their help in finding a lot of these!)

BUGFIXES:

  • Collision issues in the Skyward Sanctum have been fixed. The locked gate should now properly act as if it is actually, in fact, there.
  • Lanterngeists forgot to switch everything to the new immunity state, causing them not to properly react to Soften. Several strongly worded letters from disgruntled mages later, they have since corrected this.

Here's a screenshot of Lanterngeists, since they're relevant.

Water was supposed to remove these pumpkin-headed phantoms' Lingering from the start, at the cost of them being healed by it; in turn, Fire makes them stick around longer, but they take extra damage from it.

The problem was, the alternate passive "Lingering applier" state they use didn't have all the proper IDs switched over- not sure how, but some of them were using the regular Lingering state. In the latest patch, this has been corrected; the Lanterngeists in this screenshot lost their Lingering effect after the damage registered.

Maybe put Deciphering Scroll III after I and II in the Key Item list? I wonder what I can decipher now. Not the Hidden Library, those seem too familiar.

Heh... An objection... Interesting place to put this retreat, but it sure is protected.


Original: Was investigating the Wind place some more... Why does walking into the Guard Alicorn make conversation but walking into the Spears not prompt description?

Same for post Time Keeper help... I guess because they were previously battles?

EDIT: Maybe could give that Time Keeper one of Brill's Crafted Shields? Not losing a unique item that way?

3rd and 4th floor are fairly obvious, so it's just the 1st and 2nd floor that you can potentially miss in a haphazard search.

Thanks for motivating me to check even further! I missed the chest blocked by a purple flame in the "room" that I noted in my "Heh, this flame's trying to hunt me but can't reach me." from my latest posted comment!

Darkness issue: Crafting potions in the Aeternator Preparation section has it be darker than usual while crafting?

Burn effect is also wrong? Brill says that each point of Effect Strength is 5 more damage, but it seems to be each point is 3 more damage.

If I want a Thunder Fire mix with a long-lasting Burn, I guess I need to start with Fire first, because Thunder and Wind don't take / allow adjusting the Turn parameter.

Not sure if music change should last when leaving the Crafting "Room".

Aeternator just tried to conjure coins when I didn't defeat any of them? I'm just Treating myself every turn btw.
