0.3.7-P2: Bugfix Patch 3
Ruphand: An Apothecary's Adventure » Devlog
Good evening! (Oh boy, 12:42 AM!)
I had some time to spare tonight, so I took that time to fix some more recently-discovered bugs. As usual, the fix has been applied to the main 0.3.7-P2 download; you can apply it by downloading the new version and copying your save folder into it.
BUGFIXES:
- Challenger Lanterngeists should now properly update their Lingering turns when Burned and above 0 HP.
- Challenger Stitched should no longer have their Lightning Rod effect active when KO'd.
- Tower Lord M.A.S.S.'s Steam Clean properly clears buffs and debuffs, and no longer removes Grav Formula immunity after being hit by a Grav Formula.
- Winning streaks in the Hard Challenge Tower should now be properly recorded.
OTHER:
- Immunity to Grav Formulae after the first will now be shown with an icon.
- The Normal Challenge Tower Challenge should now be referred to as "Normal" in all the relevant locations.
- An NPC has been added in the Challenge Tower that mentions the stat ramp-up that enemies get in the Tower.

BIG BUG: Died in Challenge Tower due to Arrow Rain after getting laser beamed by the Fire Rangers then wiping them all with a Star Burst. Brill ended up in bed.
With only her Challenge Tower gear. Can't change gear either.
At least returning to the Tower returns her stuff.
...
A Riftkeeper Autogravitated as its first move. It had no chance to be damaged, silly.
...
BUG? Hit Lifespark, Lanterngeist and Genji Crab with Tempest Flask II. Lanterngeist was 1 Lingering then hit with Spirited Riposte and went back up to 2?
...
My Mix is a bit dark in Aeternator's room? And music changing in it also changes the music in the room when you leave?
...
No Research from Challenge Tower enemies, so can't stay in the tower and improve my mixes. mmm.
...
Mixing in Aeternator's room... Can't get Block Lowering in my mixes anymore? Nor Gleam Sand. Well, not useful for the Challenges I guess.
Still, Aeternator allows Blessed stuff so that should still be unlocked?
...
Would be nice if Blast Rod detected available formulas instead of presenting them all.
Maybe make a starting room before the Hard Challenge to store loadouts without a supply shop? My starting plans are: Water Blast Rod, 12 Hi-Tonics, 16 Super Shieldshockers, 3 Condensed Fire III-s, for now. Maybe I'll swap out the attacks for some Lava Bombs II and Tempest Flasks II instead, but made all of those too. Err, swapping out Tempest for Sleet Stormer because Lifesparks.
Best to drop any Gleam Sand recipes from the allowed list, unless removing My Mixes are too hard? I can't make my one Mix because it needs Gleam Sand and I can't make that in the tower. Weird, given how I can make Catalytic Triggers which use the same ingredients, IIRC? Well, whatever.
My Mix checks are probably easy enough to work around. Gleam Sand should be allowed, I'll go through and add the check for that.
Adding loadouts to the Normal and Hard challenges would be a good idea. I could probably reuse some of the code, too.
Did the Lifespark heal the Lanterngeist? The check gets the HP the Lanterngeist was at before the attack hit, so maybe the Lifespark used Power Pool.
Not sure off the top of my head what caused the big bug- maybe Fire related, but likely because Brill got KO'd after the fight. But now's probably a good time for me to go through "timed attack" effects like Volley (and Artillery Fire) and add a check that keeps them from activating if the enemies are all KO'd. (I'll keep it on Echo Tonics because that's useful.) I'll get on that after I've finished up with work.
I don't think the Lifespark used Power Pool, but maybe it only visually updated after the Lanterngeist's attack so it's more a timing issue than anything else.
EDIT: Lol, so glad I have Restoration as a fallback to survive Arrow Rains and not getting any healing supplies in my first Hard Tower encounter. Now to walk it off from 1 HP to 173!
And can't just add and remove Heartbeats, because going from 173 to 178 and back again loses me 1 HP every time.
Maybe Recycling works on out-of-battle potions?

First Hard Tower Lord sighted! Bad Egg! HA! Took me a reread to think about what it means! Woo Shoutouts!
Shoot. I should've prepared Gravity against it. It's got soo much HP!
Well. I almost won. 200+ HP it had left. On loss maybe I should be standing outside the Hard attendant?
Maybe I'll get the Glimmersilk Gown.
Hope you slept well! Downloading now!
Maybe I'll finally see a Hard Tower Lord this patch. Hehe.
