Screenshot Saturday: 0.3.7 Preview #9!


Good morning!

The past few weeks have been particularly busy, particularly with financial issues that came out of nowhere. Those are all sorted out now, thankfullly. And now that I've gotten some more time to myself, I've been able to make some progress on My Mix!


I've made enough progress on the  Modifiers to make their menu options fairly easily. Split Strike and Multi Target can be selected with no issues; this is what a Mix might look like with 275 of each kind of Research. The damage could maybe go up a bit, but mass two-hit Soften and Rock Wall on the same Formula is pretty nice!

Crucially, because of how I set it up, I'll be able to take a lot of previous eventing/code and re-use it for the other Modifiers! Then I'll use Common Events  to seamlessly turn Modifiers off (without having to repeat the same humongous event block four times).

Yay for your issues being sorted!!

The funny phrases that crop up when you call this feature My Mix! Heh.

Well, all depends on how hard it is to get each type of Research! Good luck with balancing! That full runs can be achieved without My Mix means that they're nice extras... Unless you make some enemies harder and stuff...

But this isn't supposed to be the hardest of games! A nice challenge and gotta be thinky, like Brill is!
