Ruphand: An Apothecary's Adventure » Devlog
Good afternoon!
The events leading up to the third dungeon of the update took a lot more work than expected, but I've finally broken through to really get started on the detail work. Here's a glimpse at the eventing I've got planned!
Normal enemies aren't the only thing to worry about in this lofty lair. Not only will there be a few more artillery emplacements, there's a powerful foe in charge of the place! He can't use his full power every single time he runs into you, but it'll be enough to wear down your health, so be prepared with extra Tonics!

Woah! Facing an enemy multiple times like this! Cool!
Hope he doesn't reset if Brill leaves, but would be cool if he does!
If you don't hear from me next week, that's 'cause I'm on vacation! FYI!
Hmm... Actually didn't think about this, but that's an idea! Maybe a partial reset... On the other hand, it is a pretty long dungeon.
Enjoy the vacation!
Thanks! Could have an in-game timer, or something. If Brill does some measurable restocking, like buying stuff or crafting stuff or some recovery, then he gets the same amount of "time" to recover. And since he has a limit he can recover to, a.k.a the state he was at the beginning...
The player can try the gauntlet again but with more supplies if they want. Since with the current save system, people who face off against him the first time can just save, reload, and try try again if we think we have a good chance. And with a bad one, they can just leave to resupply.
