Good morning!
It's been as busy as ever, but I've started making some headway on the eventing and detail work over the past week. In particular, I'm finally nearing the end of one segment that was taking an inordinate amount of time- I'll be glad to have THAT all done!
Here's a glimpse of some of that aforementioned detail work.
The towers aren't just for show- spellcasters can use them to broadcast magic over a long distance. It's like a radio tower! Except with buffs.
This mysterious fortress will have its share of miniboss battles. Brill might not technically HAVE to fight this guy- but honestly, she probably should.

That's the smartest guard in the castle. He knows the importance of staying hydrated, which is probably only compounded by being in full plate armor.
HA! I see! Little water bottle! Nice!
Oh... Long-distance buffs. It's gonna suck for me if multiple towers can cast on the same enemy / battle and they stack instead of just overwriting! Heh.
