0.3.5 P2 - Bugfix Patch 33

Good afternoon!

I've got a decent variety of bugfixes today- nothing game-breaking, but a few of them did have an effect on gameplay.

You know the drill by now- the fixed version replaces the main download. (And if you don't, welcome, and thanks for giving Ruphand a look!)

BUGFIXES:

  • BGM should now always be properly restored after changing the volume in the Options Menu.
  • A Spellbook Mimic in Mimic Moorage can now properly initiate a battle when approached.
  • Regenerate effects such as Burn or the Cursed Coronet should no longer activate on every tick of a stun effect.
  • Brill no longer levitates on the  corner of the required reading bookshelf in the Arkenvali Academy.

TEXT EDITS:

  • The Auction  House no longer says "Minimumm".
  • A minor NPC that appears after A Royal Pain has had altered dialogue.

Yay! Thanks again for another patch! EDIT: Ha! Funny changed dialogue! Nice! Using the features of their world!

Reporting with a save:

If I go straight up into the closest battle and block, then Brill falls with a "13" status effect above her body? What's that symbol-less status effect?

And if I re-enter the room from outside from that closest exit, perhaps Brill shouldn't be standing in front of an enemy blocking the way out?

I believe that state is Starforce, as it's the only one not removed on KO; using the Phoenix Phormula reveals that you've got 13 Starforce after being KO'd.

On that note, the passive states added by items (like the Haunted Aegis) really should remain after getting KO'd as well- I'll get around to making that the case tomorrow, along with probably setting the transfer event so that resetting doesn't put you in front of that enemy.

(EDIT TOMORROW: Shoot, was busier today than I'd expected. Well, it should be possible on Sunday!)

Thanks! I didn't think to mention that I discovered reviving as a possible way to remove the Cursed Coronet's ATK drop for 1 turn!

I guess it's an easy fix, since Starforce sticks around too!
