0.3.5 P2 - Bugfix Patch 32
Ruphand: An Apothecary's Adventure » Devlog
Good evening!
Normally I don't like to make two patches in one day, but this one has enough fixes (though they are somewhat minor) that I feel it's necessary.
As always, the fixed version replaces the main download.
BUGFIXES:
- The second Dragon Statue in A Royal Pain now properly resets Brill's graphics when used. The game's lore is consistent once more.
- The Element Amp indicator on the Equip menu should be the right color all the time, and will no longer say it's bad to have over 100% amp. (That's, like, the opposite of bad.)
TEXT EDITS:
- The Equip Menu Element Amp is now shown as its base value, instead of "+value"- so 150% instead of +50%, or 67% instead of +-33%, for instance.

Yay! Thanks for the patch!
Was hanging around Altolato, and went into battle with the two Pirate Captains.
I punched "B" twice to fell him, then "A" Restored himself even though he was at full health? I guess they're randomly picking their moves then?
Lastly for now... Does Altolato not have a BGM? Or is it something about me having participated in the Auction?

Restore is Multi Target, so Captain A was probably trying to top off Captain B.
I gave the save file a look, but I'm not getting any BGM issues on my end. Did you change the BGM volume in the options? That's the only thing I can really think of off the top of my head.
Okay, mega weird: Set BGM Volume to 0, then win the auction. BGM Volume will act like it's stuck at 0 even if you change it, until you quit to the Start Screen?
EDIT: And it seems like Brill must win for this to happen.
Now that is very odd. My first guess is that the plugins skip loading BGM when the volume's set to 0 (because, well, there's no volume to play said BGM with), but I can't see where in the code that part happens. I'll do some investigating later tonight.
Good luck! Have a good day!
I'm back, and I actually found a fix! It was a lot easier than I thought- I essentially just had to slap a "fade in bgm - 0 seconds" command on the end of the "exit the Options Menu" method.
The bug is pretty minor overall, so I'll just ship this with the next update. (Along with a fix to a typo in the Auction House- "Minimum" should not have four "M"s in it.)
