0.3.5 P2 - Bugfix Patch 31

Good morning!

This bugfix patch corrects some miscellaneous errors, including a visual bug with the new Elemental Amp indicator.

As always, the patched version replaces the main download.

BUGFIXES:

  • The Amp indicator should no longer display an amount of Element Amp slightly below the actual value.
  • Leaving the Well through the shortcut dialogue option should now disable the background sound inside it.
  • The Meteor Shower potion should now have the correct animation.
  • The latest dungeon no longer plays its ending cutscene every time you enter it.

TEXT EDITS:

  • The Pure Shield now specifies "All Element Res" instead of just "All Res".

Used the Last Dragon Statue to as part of my plan to return to the Auction House and get more Pure Water or something, but both options don't revert Brill's State like it would if she entered the area normally.

Also, I can board the Raft from the bridge, but can't walk onto the bridge from the raft. makes sense if she's jumping down onto the raft?

Oh yeah, oops. Forgot that would be an issue, what with the other Dragon Statue being before the state trigger! I'll have that Dragon Statue fixed when I get the chance to do some work on it later tonight.

I had the same issue with a lot of tiles when testing tile passability in the new dungeon, actually! The explanation makes sense and it makes the eventing work, so I'll keep that as it is.

Sensible!

... Looking at the Element Res and Amp numbers again. Green is Good, and Red is Bad, right? It seems like the Elemental Amp coloring is acting like it's Elemental Res, sort of.

It might be easier if both Res and Amp had their base values be 100%? A.k.a Basic Brill deals 100% Elemental Damage, and Dullstone makes her deal 67% of it?

Otherwise:

1. Wearing just the Dullstone shows "+-33%" Elemental Amp as Green.
2. 100% Elemental Amp is neutral (White?)
3. >100% Elemental Amp is Red

I just now investigated and found out why the coloring was acting up. It's an easy fix; I've got to get going now, but I'll have it fixed tonight.

That said, I could set it to display 100% base value instead, so the interface wouldn't have that annoying "+-33%". That should just be simple addition, so I'll have it shipped with the next patch as well.
