Screenshot Saturday: 0.3.7 Intermission


Good afternoon!

There's a lot of planning I need to figure out for 0.3.7-P3. It centers around a single sidequest... that is really more like four separate sidequests, most of which are continuations of existing ones. Some of the planning I'm doing is not only for these sidequests, but for fitting them into the ongoing "arcs" that other sidequests started; I've got rough ideas, but they need to be refined further.

In the meantime, because it's "Screenshot Saturday", here's a screenshot of something already in the game!


This is an earlier dungeon section designed around "jump ledges." In most areas, Brill can hop down these shorter cliffs, though she can't climb back up and will have to go around. If you've played up to Levitt's Landing and beyond, you might've seen this cave!

I don't really remember this screenshot that much. Huh. It *is* the slightly annoying puzzle that's best not to overdo!

I definitely remember just avoiding that one route in Pokemon Gen 2 (I forget the number, but it's the one south of Blackthorn where you find Skarmory) because I didn't want to deal with the ledges, although at least you get Fly by then. Fortunately, this particular bit is fairly short, and it's easy to get back to.
